About
Curious about how businesses work - and how they can work better.
Background
I’m a second-year BA (Hons) Business Management and Entrepreneurship undergraduate at Nottingham Trent University, based in Nottingham.
My course runs from 2025 to an expected graduation in 2029, including a 2027-28 industry placement. My first-year performance was at first-class standard.
I’m interested in how technology can help solve practical business problems. My experience combines independent ecommerce, financial modelling and AI-assisted product and workflow development.
Practical experience
I ran an independent ecommerce business in 2023, taking responsibility for product research, sourcing, pricing, listings, customer service and fulfilment.
Since August 2025, I’ve worked as a Customer Service Assistant at B&M Stores in Nottingham. I help customers, replenish stock, keep the shop floor organised, handle difficult customer interactions and help new starters learn procedures and standards.
In my AI-assisted projects, I use my own brainstorming methods to develop and explore ideas, define the problem and set the requirements. I direct how the product should work, then review, test and refine the implementation. AI tools contribute substantially to the code.
What interests me
I’m particularly interested in business operations, strategy, business development, digital transformation, product operations, commercial analysis and AI-enabled business work.
I’m drawn to work where I can take responsibility, understand a business problem and help put a solution into practice.
