Your Store Ranks - Etsy-support venture

An Etsy-support venture in development and launch, combining a defined audit and implementation service model, live scoring tools and supporting operational workflows.

My role

Founder; service design, commercial model and direction/testing of AI-assisted implementation

From a service idea to a live venture

Your Store Ranks is an independent Etsy-support venture I’m developing around listing presentation, buyer confidence and deciding what to improve first.

The website and free listing and shop scoring tools are live. I have defined the paid service offering and built the supporting processes, while active sales and client delivery have not yet started.

My contribution

I defined the venture’s positioning, commercial model, service scope and operating requirements, then directed, tested and refined AI-assisted implementation.

My work included the website’s structure and visual direction, free-score requirements, and the application, CRM, email and support workflows. I also defined service scope, delivery boundaries and pricing. AI tools contributed substantially to coding, integrations, drafting and debugging; I retained responsibility for the decisions and review.

Giving each service a clear purpose

Broad “Etsy growth support” could mean anything from keyword research to coaching. I developed a more specific service model around understanding weaknesses in a listing or shop, prioritising changes and providing implementation support.

I separated the offering into three stages:

  • Free scores: automated first-pass observations from public Etsy information.
  • Paid audits: human-reviewed diagnosis and prioritised recommendations.
  • Implementation support: a defined scope of rewriting and guidance.

The public offering includes listing-level and shop-level audits, Growth Support and a Full Shop Sprint. These are service scopes I have developed, rather than evidence of completed client engagements.

Balancing value with delivery workload

Defining the offers meant deciding what each customer would receive - and where the work would stop.

I set listing counts, delivery formats, timelines and clarification or revision boundaries. I also specified exclusions such as photography, direct account management and unlimited revisions.

That distinction mattered commercially: an audit diagnoses and prioritises, while implementation involves a different workload. The published scopes establish those boundaries; actual delivery time and margins remain to be tested through paid work.

Working within the available evidence

The free tools accept public Etsy URLs without requiring sellers to connect an account. This makes them accessible, but limits what they can assess.

I defined the scoring dimensions and directed refinements to the reports. Their role is to provide an initial signal - not access private shop performance, reproduce Etsy’s ranking system or predict sales.

Detailed prioritisation, competitor context and implementation direction belong in the human-reviewed service offering.

Developing the operating workflows

I directed the systems supporting applications, confirmation emails, CRM records, operational logging and support requests.

I tested the connected workflows and reviewed the public website at desktop and mobile widths, requiring corrections where the implementation did not match the intended behaviour or presentation.

This work established the infrastructure for the venture. It does not yet demonstrate performance under sustained customer demand.

Built to support Your Store Ranks

I also designed and tested Etsy Lead Research Automation as an internal business-development system for Your Store Ranks.

It combines Etsy and eRank evidence with commercial qualification, outreach drafts and structured follow-up records. It remains operator-assisted and has mainly been developed and tested, rather than used as a routine prospecting process.

The separate automation case study below documents the workflow, my contribution and the archived evidence.

Current stage and evidence

The live website shows the service offering, free tools and application process. Sample reports illustrate the proposed deliverables; they are not completed client case studies.

The work demonstrates venture development, service design and implementation testing. Customer demand, paid delivery workload and commercial outcomes remain unvalidated.
